overview of the job and your responsibilities

You will be able to plan, deliver and analyse social media campaigns. You will be responsible for managing and growing the social media for clients across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn implementing creative campaigns to specifically drive engagement and leads.

You will also be responsible for managing topclick’s social profile, positioning topclick across all social media channels to raise our brand awareness.

what you will be doing

Develop a social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness and increase engagement for clients.

Manage all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and Instagram for client accounts and topclick.

Develop and manage competitions and campaigns that promote for client accounts.

Write engaging blog posts and articles for client accounts and topclick.

Create engaging multimedia content and/or outsource this effectively.

Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms.

Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions.

Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within your company.

Regularly liaise with clients via telephone, email, conference calls or face-to-face.

knowledge & skills

Previous experience working as a Social Media Executive, Social Media Manager either for a marketing agency, digital agency or in house.

Must have experience managing multiple social media channels at one time.

Experience of hootsuite or a similar social media management tool.

A solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to advertising/branding and customers.

Strong editing and writing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful tweet to using effective storytelling techniques.

Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas.

Organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Data analysis skills to be able to draw actionable insights from campaigns.

Excellent networking skills.

Knowledge of algorithms and search engine optimisation an advantage.
