As a car financing company with a difference, Zuuma were keen that their brand identity reflected the elements of their business which set them apart from their rivals in what is a highly competitive industry. Embracing new technology to simplify and expedite customer interaction, they were looking to create a bright, informal brand identity which conveyed this message, and to which their youthful demographic would be able to relate.
We chose the central concept of 'car finance made simple!' and built the visual brand identity around this, with clean, uncluttered graphics and simple, concise copy. We also looked to build an informality and playfulness into the site and the new logo, to add a sense of fun, friendliness and accessibility.
The use of infographics to replace lengthy chunks of copy speeds and simplifies navigation through the site, and reinforces the ‘made simple’ concept, whilst the image-rich content, and specifically the colourful photography, adds a dynamism and immediacy to the user experience, as well as imparting an important human dimension to the business.
